Action ordered for negligence in Ambala Snakebite Case
Authorities order action against Ambala Doctor for negligence in Snakebite Treatment
Haryana cooperative minister Banwari Lal directs departmental action against an Ambala-based government doctor following allegations of negligence in attending to a snakebite victim.
Investigation into multiple complaints ordered
During a meeting of the district public relations and grievance redressal cell in Ambala, Minister Banwari Lal instructs civil surgeon Dr. Kuldeep Singh to initiate action. The meeting addresses 15 complaints, with resolutions for 10 and instructions for officials to investigate the remaining five.
Fraud allegations prompt Minister's action
The minister also addresses a case where a West African man alleges a ₹25-lakh fraud by a Panchkula firm. Haryana home minister Anil Vij orders an investigation into the matter and forms special investigation teams to probe murder allegations in separate complaints from Rewari and Yamunanagar residents. Another complaint regarding a ₹25-lakh immigration fraud by an Ambala resident is directed to be investigated by an already constituted Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the Ambala Range inspector general.
